Laura is happy with her life. She enjoys a settled, middle class existence with her older solicitor husband and young son. She has a job she enjoys and a lifestyle which is the envy of her friends. Then Laura meets Martin. Although she tries hard to ignore her feelings, Laura becomes obsessed. And when finally she gives way to her feelings of love, her whole life is overturned.
