John Fuller

Flying to Nowhere

Vane is sent as an emissary by his bishop to investigate the disappearance of pilgrims on their way to a monastery on a remote Welsh island. But while Vane is looking for clues and corpses, the abbot of the monastery is dissecting bodies in his search for the physical location of the human soul. In his short first novel John Fuller has produced a rich and exciting murder mystery which is comparable to Eco’s ‘The Name of the Rose’. His magic and poetry awaken our secret hopes and fears and inflame our desire to believe that miracles may come true.
