Broomstick Removals
is an ideal read for Halloween. It’s full of action, entertainment and good fun and guaranteed to appeal to children who are beginning to read their own stories.

A fast food delivery service by broomstick isn’t exactly normal. Neither is a rubbish disposal business run by witches.

Mabel is horrified when her sister Ethel promises to help the distressed Mr. Botch sort out his builder’s yard. And trouble is only beginning when they both have to be up at five a.m. to clear away piles of stinky rubbish.

Things go from bad to worse when the witches’ broomsticks are stolen and their original business, Broomstick Services, is sabotaged. But retired witch and “married human” sister Maud makes up her mind it’s time to take out her black witch’s dress again and consult her book of spells at the section marked REVENGE.

You can read the further adventures of Ethel, Mabel and Maud in Broomstick Services, Broomstick Rescues and Broomstick Baby.
