Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl

Roald Dahl’s books are suitable for children of all ages and indeed also for adults who enjoy an entertaining read. Fantastic Mr Fox could be just the book to start young readers on a lifetime devotion to this famous writer.

Farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean are very mean. They hate Mr Fox, and hate him even more when he gets away with their chickens, geese or turkeys. The three of them plot to kill Mr Fox and his family but they underestimate his courage and tenacity.

Children will be happy to see that Boggis, Bunce and Bean are outwitted in the end by Fantastic Mr Fox. This edition of one of Roald Dahl’s most well known stories is included in the Young Puffin series by The Penguin Group. The series is aimed at children who have developed reading fluency.
