Raisha was to be married to the proud young chief Konje before they were captured by slave-traders. But on the Caribbean island plantation, Konje soon joins a band of runaways. As the slave revolt grows, so does the harshness of the owners’ response, and by the time Raisha is reunited with her lover, the slaves have only one desperate option to take to remain free.
