Éanna Ní Lamhna, with a vast knowledge of Irish wildlife, is probably best known for her role on the Mooney Goes Wild programme. She provides very entertaining and informative accounts of many aspects of mainly Irish wildlife. Chapters with titles such as The Terrible Truth About Bluebottles and Flies, Miss Moffat’s Revenge – Spiders, and Nature’s Wierdos – Fungi provide details of many weird and wonderful plants and animals. This book will provide anyone with an interest in Irish wildlife with a very amusing and enlightening read.
