whichbook.net provides readers with a completely new way of choosing what
to read.
Instead of starting from the overwhelming choice of books available, this
site allows readers to specify what type of book they want to read –
sad or happy, long or short, expected or unpredictable- and to choose
the character, plot and setting. The site then presents a list of books
(with short extracts and readers’ comments) to match the specified
criteria.
The list is limited to fiction and poetry in paperback written in or translated
into English and published since 1995.

BookBrowser is a great site for the avid reader. It offers fiction reading
lists, book reviews, forthcoming titles, author information and much more.
BookBrowser has over 7,100 book reviews of all genres and an average of
40 reviews a week are added. The forthcoming titles section lists future
releases by genre. In the author info section you'll find an extensive
list of authors profiles in addition to author interviews. If you don't
find what you're looking for, try Readers' Resources -this section has
links to hundreds of reading related websites.

BookSpot.com is a site that simplifies the search for the best book-related
content on the Web. Featured sites are hand-selected by BookSpot.com editors
and organized into intuitive categories, such as bestseller lists, genres,
book reviews, electronic texts, book news and more. Both adult and children's
books are featured. Some of the useful categories are - must-see websites,
prizes and awards, author spotlight, genre spotlight and lists such as
'100 Greatest love poems' and 'Harry Potter Readalikes'
