being parents and being married.
Unbecoming is the story of three women with three secrets. The book
explores the very real problem of living and dealing with someone who
has Alzheimers. Alongside this is the unfolding of Katie’s struggle
with her sexuality and the turmoil she experiences in keeping it secret.
The characters are all well developed and the stories of each of the
three women will not only resonate with teenagers but with women readers
of different generations.
