Children’s Books Ireland repeated last year’s Design a Bookmark Competition for Children’s Book Festival 2004.

There was a huge response from children all over Clare and all entries were judged at Library Headquarters by Anthony Edwards, Executive Librarian, Patricia Fitzgerald, Assistant Librarian and Clare County Arts Officer, Siobhan Mulcahy.

This year’s County winner was Niamh Keogh aged 12 from Ennis C.B.S. National School. Niamh won a €50 book token and an award certificate, compliments of Clare County Library and The Youth Library Group of The Library Association of Ireland.

She was presented with her prize at her school, Ennis C.B.S. National School, by Siobhan Mulcahy.
