‘Summer Stars’ Activities 2017 at Ennistymon Library - 1st to 14th July

Sat 1st July	Wed 5th July	Thurs 6th July	Fri 7th July
11am to 12 noon ‘Summer Star’ Storytime with craft activity. “The Koala Who Could” 3-6 year olds	3pm to 4pm Want to be a Librarian?* Learn all about the library from behind the desk. 5-8 year olds	3pm to 4pm Fire Station Visit* and ‘Summer Star’ Storytime. Dress up in your Fire Service costume and bring your Fireman Sam along. 3-6 year olds 6-10 year olds	11am to 12 noon ‘Summer Star’ Teddy Bears Picnic and Storytime*. Bring your own teddy for a picnic and story at the library. 4-7 year olds

Mon 10th July	Wed 12th July	Thurs 13th July	Fri 14th July
11am to 12 noon Gardening workshop with Ennistymon Tidy Towns*. Pot up your own sunflower seeds to take home. All ages	12 noon to 1pm Abstract Art Workshop* and visit to Courthouse Gallery. This could get messy so wear old clothes or a painting shirt. 7 -12 year olds	3pm to 4pm Tie Dye T-Shirt Workshop*. Bring a t-shirt from home and transform it with tie dye. All ages	11am to 12 noon Yoga Workshop and Mandala Stone Painting Workshop*. All ages

*Numbers are limited on activities with asterisk so pre-booking is required and you will need to bring items from home to take part in some workshops. Bookings will be taken at 065 7071245 or at the library desk. All activities are free of charge.

Don’t forget our ‘Summer Star’ Reading Adventure where each child is asked to read 8 books of their choice over the summer and will receive a certificate in September. Register for the adventure at the library desk.
