Schools Service
The schools section at Library Headquarters is administered by Patricia
Fitzgerald, Executive Librarian. All Primary Schools in Clare are invited
to select books at pre-arranged times during the year to a value allocated
by the Department of Education. The schools supply room is arranged similar
to all children’s libraries with emphasis on suitable books for different
classes and age groups. All subject areas are covered such as general
fiction consisting of classic books for children and popular fiction,
non fiction and reference. A collection of children’s literacy books for
remedial teachers is also available.
