‘Summer Stars’ Activities 2017 at Scariff Library - Thursday 20th July - Thursday 10th August

July Pirate Storytime and craft. 3.30pm 3-6 year olds	Create pictures using weaving techniques with Grace Burton* 3.30pm 7-12 year olds	Ladybird Balloon Craft with Sam 3.30pm 3-6 year olds	Introduction to Coding with Scratch Workshop* 3.30pm 7-12 year olds. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Teddy Bears Picnic and Storytime 11a.m 2-4 year olds AND 3.30pm Fire Fighters Storytime followed by a visit to Scariff Fire Station* All ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.	Mask Making Workshop with artist Isabelle Gaborit* 3.30pm Explore the colourful world of Picasso and create a mask inspired by the artist 7-12 year olds	Shark Storytime and craft 3.30pm 3-6 year olds	Princess and Dragon Storytime and craft 3.30pm 3-6 year olds

*Numbers are limited on activities with asterisk so pre-booking is required. Bookings will be taken at 061 922893 or at the library desk. Activities are free of charge.

Don’t forget our ‘Summer Stars’ Reading Adventure where each child is asked to read 8 books of their choice over the summer and will receive a certificate in September. Register for the challenge at the library desk. Open to all primary school children.
