World Book Day 2012

World Book Day was celebrated in all branches of Clare County Library with events beginning the week of February 27th 2012. Alan Shoosmith toured the county’s libraries bringing art workshops to senior classes in primary schools based on their favourite reads. Author Maeve Friel visited Shannon, Sixmilebridge, Ennistymon and Lisdoonvarna libraries meeting with 3rd and 4th class children who had lots of questions to ask her about her Witch In Training and Tiger Lily series of books. Thanks to Alan and Maeve for helping us celebrate World Book Day 2012.
