Clare County Library's World Cup Celebrations 2006

Even though Ireland didn’t qualify for the 2006 World Cup, Clare County Library joined in the excitement by running a children’s soccer quiz in all its branches. Quiz sheets were available to members of the children’s library and correct entries were included in a draw for a fantastic range of prizes including footballs, shin guards, soccer socks and shorts, gift vouchers and some fantastic books about the beautiful game!

Prizes were sponsored by Clare County Library, O’Mahony’s Bookshop, Limerick and Anthony Daly Sports. Clare County Library sincerely thanks Anthony Daly Sports and O’Mahony’s Bookshop for their generous contribution of gifts.
