Clare Gmaps - New maps system, based on Google Maps
The Clare GMaps are based on the Google Map system, allowing Google Maps and satellite views to be overlaid with historical maps of Clare from 1842. This new system uses many of the same controls as Google Maps, and we have linked it to the thousands of pages on this website dealing with the archaeology, history and administrative divisons of County Clare.

List of Freeholders, County Clare, 1821 (c. 35,000 names)
- With the addition of the 1821 List of Freeholders, over 35,000 names of Clare people from the early 19th Century have been added to this website.

The Ennis Chronicle and Clare Advertiser (1805)
- The Ennis Chronicle and Clare Advertiser was published between circa 1784 and 1831, appearing twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays. We present here PDFs of individual issues of the paper for the year 1805.
