Try resizing the embedded window frames, for example to expand the main map display area to its maximum.

Try the specical cursors in the main map. Pressing the [ALT] key activates the PAN, [CTRL] the ZOOM-IN and [CTRL]+[SHIFT] the ZOOM-OUT cursor.
