This collection of articles by T.J. Westropp details tales and myths relating to County Clare. They cover the earlier tales of the Finn Cycle and Red Branch Heroes, as well as tales relating to historical figures like Richard de Clare, Conor na Siudaine and Máire Rua. These articles were originally published in a series which appeared in ‘Folk-Lore: Transactions of the Folk-Lore Society’ between 1910 and 1913. Nine articles formed A Folklore Survey of County Clare’, and four others formed ‘County Clare Folk-Tales and Myths’ which is presented here.
