Part 5: Postal Directory of Towns and Villages

R. S. O. signifies Railway Sub-office, which receives it correspondence direct from a travelling post office; and in Postal Addresses the name of the county should follow that of the post office. For ordinary sub-offices the name of Head office should also be comprised in address. R. O. signifies Receiving office, and S. O. a Sub-office receiving a large part of their mails from other than their own head office.
