There are no entries from July 1840 to January 1842. The
entry numbers are out by about 30 from those made by the priest –
sometimes he skipped a number by mistake. The early entries usually give
the names of the fathers of bride and bridegroom plus other bits of useful
information. The marriages often took place at the bride’s father’s
house, or at the priest’s, or some other house.
