THE ENNIS WATERWORKS: TO THE RATEPAYERS OF THE BOROUGH
We hereby request your attendance at the Meeting to be held in the
Town Hall, on Monday next, 7th February 1876, to protest against the
above project, and to urge on the Ennis Town Commissioners the necessity
of erecting Pumps for the supply of Pure Water in Suitable and Convenient
Sites. We trust that the Commissioners, in order to give the Ratepayers
full opportunity of attending and expressing their views, will hold
the meeting in the Large Upper Room.
We, the Undersigned Owners of Property and Ratepayers, within the Borough,
hereby protest against the erection of the Proposed Water Works, as
we are of opinion that it is too extravagant a project for the inhabitants
of so small a town as that of Ennis to undertake.
