Died: Yesterday at his lodgings on the Quay (Limerick), Captain Bingham
who was lately appointed Surveyor of Kilrush in this district. A gentleman
of unblemished character an unspeakable loss to a numerous family. He
was formerly Surveyor of Bantry in the County of Cork.

Funeral of Admiral Studdert: - Kilrush, Tuesday. (From our own correspondent).
The remains of the late Admiral Studdert were today conveyed to their
final resting place in Kilrush churchyard. During the period of now more
than thirty years that Admiral Studdert lived here, he endeared himself
to all classes, and his remains were therefore followed to the grave by
an unusually large concourse of friends. I noticed the following gentlemen

Precisely at one o'clock the funeral cortège left Pella, the family
residence, attended by a number of the Royal Irish Constabulary, the Coastguards,
and the men and officers of her Majesty's cutter Fly, all in military
order. The chief mourners were Lieutenant Studdert, R.N., and J. Studdert,
Esq, sons of deceased, Austin Studdert, Captain Studdert, and A Walsh,
Esq. The funeral was met at the church door by the Rev. Mr. Wolseley,
Vicar of Kilrush, by whom the burial service was read and a short address
delivered respecting the high qualities of the deceased.
