Changing Names - The Dynamic World of Irish Placenames and Their Meanings

The 'Changing Names' conference was held in the Burren College of Art, Ballyvaughan.. The papers address the origins, durability and evolution of Clare placenames, and the importance of their collection and preservation.

The Conference was organised by Coiste Logainmneacha an Chláir/Clare Placenames Committee in conjunction with the Clare Historical and Archaeological Society with support from The Heritage Council, Clare County Council, Conradh na Gaeilge, An Clár as Gaeilge and An Coimisiún Logainmneacha.
