Clare County Library: Library Sites Development
Kildysart
On Tuesday 1st April 2003,
Kildysart
Public Library re-opened in spacious accomodation in the new community
college in Kildysart, with a totally separate entrance leading to a
newly furnished, well-stocked branch library equipped with four free
access Internet PCs. Opening hours have also been extended to take full
advantage of the enhanced service to the people of Kildysart and its
hinterland.
Kilmihil
On Friday 21st February 2003,
Kilmihil
Public Library was moved from the Vocational School to a new site
in Kilmihil Community Centre, which is located in the centre of the
village. The branch library is now situated in a bright, newly furnished
room at the front of the Community Centre.
Parteen & Scariff
Discussions are taking place with the local communities in Parteen
and
Scariff
with a view to providing a modern library facility in each of these
areas.
