DEATH OF HENRY DENNY, ESQ.
With painful surprise we learned, and with sincere regret we have to
announce the death, on Saturday night last, of Henry Denny, Esq, Sub-Inspector
of Constabulary in Ennis. We are truly sorry to have to speak of him

years at his next birthday in next spring. He was the son of a truly
estimable gentleman, the Rev Henry Denny, of Church-hill, near Tralee,
a member of one of the highest families in the aristocratic County of
Kerry, and was himself a gentleman under all circumstances. He was beloved
by the force under his command and they now mourn his loss as that of

of the Rev Philip Dwyer, Vicar of this parish, whose presence at the
dying man’s side was a great comfort to him. Three of his brothers
